Scholarships for Outstanding Young Scientists 2024

Twenty-six young scientists from the University of Warsaw have received scholarships from the Minister of Science. Among the awardees are twenty-one researchers with a doctoral degree and five doctoral students. This is the highest number of scholars among all recipients from other institutions. One of the laureates is Ms. Dorota Szepke, a doctoral student from the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Warsaw.

Scholarships for Outstanding Young Scientists are awarded to individuals with significant scientific achievements, such as publications in prestigious journals or conducting innovative research.

This year, the Minister of Science has recognized 228 young scientists, including thirty-two doctoral students. The awardees represent fifty-three scientific and artistic disciplines. Among the laureates, twenty-six are studying at the University of Warsaw, the highest number of scholarships awarded to young researchers among all Polish universities.
