We had special guests in our laboratory 11.04.2018

On 11th-14th of April we hosted scientists from Spain, Ana Sanchez-Iglesias and dr Marek Grzelczak in our laboratory. Ana works in BioNanoplasmonics Lab in Luis-Liz Marzan's group in San Sebastian. Marek has his own scientific group in Donostia International Physic Centrum. They are notable scientists, who, despite their young age, have huge experience in laboratory work and conduct research on really high level. The group of Luis-Liz Marzan is one of the best groups, which specialize in synthesis of anisotropic nanoparticles all around the world. We had amazing opportunity to hear about what they do in their laboratory, learn about their research results, but also carry out synthesis of anisotropic gold nanoparticles under the guidance of experts. It was really instensive, but also worthwhile meeting. We are really thankful for time, which they dedicated for us, and the knowledge, which they transmited to us.
